Atikokan Hydro Inc. Power Line Technician or Apprenticeship


The successful candidate must have:

  •  Grade XII Education including Math and Science
  • Personal suitability
  • Additional Education would be an asset (in a related field)

The successful candidate would be required to:

  • Work outside normal hours on call
  • Work at heights on distribution equipment
  • Have the ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Be able to climb poles
  • Be able to acquire a “DZ” class Driver’s licence
  • If applicable complete a four year apprenticeship program which includes on the job training as well as formal instructions in theory and skills
