Year-round General Support Worker
Location: Cushing Lake Resort, Lac Des Mille Lac
Location approximately 1.5 hours west of Thunder Bay, Ontario just off the TransCanada Hwy 1
Employment Type: Year-round general support worker, Full-Time
Cushing Lake Resort is looking for the right team member to help support 19 cabins and 100+ Seasonal RV sites. They must be willing to do ALL things it take to keep the resort running at all times day or night as needed. We offer good wages and living quarters; 2 bedroom apartment. Main shifts will be Sunday – Thursday.
Overview:
Cushing Lake Resort is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Year-round Support. Nestled on the stunning shores of Lac Des Mille Lac, our resort provides a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for guests. Our resort is proudly family owned and operated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning Duties:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in guest cabins, common areas, and restaurant facilities.
- Perform regular cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Run the convenience store
- Resort Maintenance
- Maintain the grounds and facilities: cut grass, fix water lines, minor electrical, pick up garbage, fixing small repairs on motors, etc.
- Bear bait, saw lumber, haul and split firewood, trap minnows, guide moose hunts, and many more!!
Qualifications:
- Previous cleaning or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Willing to learn
- must be able to lift 50lbs.
