SERVICE ACCESS FACILITATOR (SUMMER) POSITION

To further assist seasonal workers, students and residents of the Atikokan area, the Atikokan Employment Center is currently seeking a Summer Access Facilitator.
While working in this position, you will assist staff with a variety of community outreach and client related services.
The individual will also assist in providing services in our Resource and Information Centre including visitor reception.
If you are a courteous, dynamic and outgoing individual who possesses excellent customer service skills while working in a Team-based work environment, we want to hear from you.
- Digital skill to use Microsoft Office Applications and other digital communication devises
- Knowledge or ability to learn job search techniques and understanding employment application processes
- Good oral and written communication skills to effectively, tactfully and respectfully interact with others
- Knowledge of web based – social media job advertisement methods and job seeker web sites
- Willingness to learn about programs and resources available to job seekers
- Knowledge of local services to assist with maintaining and supporting health
Note: As a result of the funding for this position, applicants must be between the ages of 15-30 at the start of their employment.
Rate of Pay: $18.50 per hour for 35 hours/week
Hours of work: 8:30am to 4:30pm weekdays
Duration of Employment: Minimum of 8 weeks. *A continuation of full-time may be available for up to 12 weeks. There is also potential for part-time employment throughout the upcoming academic year depending on available funding and personal availability.
