Job Creation Partnerships
Ontario Job Creation Partnerships is an employment program that provides work experience to unemployed job seekers within projects that benefit the community or local economy. At the end of their participation, participants in the program will have recent work experience and additional skills to add to their résumés, increasing their chances of successfully finding long-term employment.
Second Career Strategy
The Second Career Strategy will help recently laid-off workers who require long-term skills training to find work in high-skill occupations that are in demand in the local labour market.
The strategy provides financial assistance based on individual needs to help people with some of the costs associated with acquiring training, including tuition and books.
