The Analyst, Cancer Screening Operations will be responsible for the administration of contracts within Operations, Cancer Screening. The Analyst will act as the subject matter expert in the specifics of contracts that are in place to support Cancer Screening. This includes facilitation of procurement and renewal of vendor agreements, monitoring of terms and conditions, as well as related operational and financial activities. The Analyst will work with internal and external partners to ensure vendors and relevant contracts are effectively supported and managed to ensure that services are not disrupted.

The Analyst will also play a key role in the implementation of the program’s strategic priorities, short and long-term business plans and reporting of progress to internal and external stakeholders.

Here is what you will be doing:

  • Partner with teams across Ontario Health in the day-to-day operations related to vendor procurement, contract management, and issue & risk management
  • Monitor performance and compliance with contract requirements, and deliver actionable insights for effective decision-making
  • Conduct reconciliation activities related to payments and contractual obligations
  • Facilitate processes for contract changes amendments
  • Support the day-to-day planning, monitoring, and reporting activities related to the Cancer Screening strategy framework
  • Support progress reporting to internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Ministry of Health, corporate services)
  • Ensure standardized processes and routines are developed and followed
  • Implement small-scale projects to support continuous improvements in planning and operations for the program, to enhance overall productivity, performance, and attainment of goals
  • Develop reports, presentations, plans and other deliverables
  • Foster our core values and culture, team building and strong communication among team members
  • Perform cross-functional and/or other duties consistent with job classification, as assigned or requested and contribute to operational or strategic goals & initiatives of the team

Here is what you will need to be successful:
Education and Experience

  • A degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Health Sciences, Health Administration, Health Informatics, or related field or recognized equivalent, is preferred
  • One to three years of overall working experience
  • Certification in health science , health care administration, information management, project management, Lean, Six Sigma, and/or ITIL an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office, in particular Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel, required
  • Knowledge and experience in project planning, performance measurement and reporting is an asset
  • Experience with stakeholder management is an asset
  • Superior organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience an asset
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize completing assignments to meet timelines, effectively anticipating and responding to issues as they arise
  • Strong critical and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team and independently
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present information to relevant stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Commitment, drive, and passion to succeed
  • Knowledge of Cancer Screening programs is an asset

Employment Type: Temporary Full time (18 months)
