Introduction:

Rentsync provides high quality websites, marketing services and software solutions to the rental & property management industry throughout Canada and the United States.

We are seeking an intermediate-level Marketing Coordinator to join our diverse team and assist with the day-to-day operations of our branding & communication endeavours.

This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity, with the flexibility to work in our Toronto and/or St. Catherines offices. Due to the nature of this position, there may be circumstances where your attendance is required in-office or off site for relevant events at the discretion of you manager.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Create and distribute a range of marketing collateral, digital content generation and design assets, including blogs, press releases, website copy, email campaigns, newsletters, social media, corporate videos and more
  • Manage a corporate marketing budget
  • Liaise with freelancers to communicate content deliverables and cadence
  • Edit and fact-check pieces of content generated by colleagues (i.e. Data Analysts)
  • Research, and become an expert across all product lines and new product releases, to effectively communicate features and unique selling proposition to customers
  • Track industry trends and competitive activity as they pertain to content marketing, and help inform on best practices to elevate brand reach
  • Develop ongoing measurement of content use and value; set goals and report on effectiveness
  • Design and execute strategic communications campaigns to increase awareness and engagement with the company vision, values, and business strategies
  • Oversee all relevant marketing communications, both internal and external, ensuring messaging and tone is appropriate, consistent and engaging with intended audiences
  • Email marketing (company newsletter, email campaigns, corporate announcements)
  • Website management and content development
  • Analyze web analytics and user behaviour insights; use data to provide copy recommendations
  • Apply optimization best practices to write copy that helps pages achieve increased traffic, engagement and high ranking across search platforms
  • Preparation of external presentations including client webinars and industry events
  • Liaise with influencers, media and at tradeshows/events in order to secure positive coverage on a national and global level
  • Source and submit applications for relevant industry awards and recognitions
  • Lead the creation of processes and templates to standardize communications outreach efforts
  • Plan, organize and optimize our Employee Advocacy Program and strategy
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilites:

  • Proficient with all modern social media platforms, including (but not limited to)

Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn

  • A proven ability to prepare, edit, and proofread ad copy
  • Experience with corporate brand positioning
  • Comfortable managing a small budget and maintaining relevant records and ledgers
  • Ability to create clear and concise content from complicated corporate jargon
  • Can effectively interpret and analyze relevant data sets

Minimum Qualification:

  • 3-5 Years’ workplace experience in a similar role
  • A degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a similar discipline
  • Available to work in-office or attend events at request
  • Legally entitle to work in Canada
  • Legally able to travel outside of Canada to attend industry conferences or expos (if required)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Multifamily Rental and/or SaaS industries
  • Located in the Grater Toronto Area
