Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Occupational Health and infection Control Coordinator and the direction of the Housekeeping and Laundry Lead Hand, the Housekeeping/Landry Aide is responsible for maintaining Atikokan Health and Community Services (AHCS) locations in a clean, neat, germ free condition. This position is primarily responsible for cleaning Atikokan Family Health Team and Community Counseling locations, but must also be available to cover shifts at Atikokan General Hospital.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of a secondary diploma required
- General knowledge of cleaning procedures and appropriate methods to use for various surfaces an asset
- Familiarity with isolation procedures and infection control precautions an asset
- Regular attendance required
- Able to meet the physical demands of the role
- Ability to work independently
- Basic computer skills
- Mandatory Covid-19 vaccination (3 doses)
