Seasonal Cleaner and Restaurant Support
Location: Cushing Lake Resort, Lac Des Mille Lac
Location approximately 1.5 hours west of Thunder Bay, Ontario just off the TransCanada Hwy 1
Employment Type: Seasonal (May 025 – September 2025) with potential for full-time contract
Cushing Lake Resort has expanded and is looking for the right team member to support our 02 operations, servicing 20 cabins and 100+ Seasonal RV sites.
Overview:
Cushing Lake Resort is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Seasonal Cleaner and Restaurant Support. Nestled on the stunning shores of Lac Des Mille Lac, our resort provides a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for guests. Highlighting a restaurant, bar, cabins, seasonal RV sites, bai and firewood services, convenient store and propane exchange we are a one stop hub. Our resort is proudly family owned and operated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning Duties:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in guest cabins, common areas, and restaurant facilities.
- Perform regular cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Restaurant Support:
- Assist with food preparation, serving, and cleaning in the dining.
- Prepare and serve group meal services
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous cleaning or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Main shifts will be Thursday – Monday, shifts will vary between 8-12h depending on resort occupancy
- must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Smart Serve and Safe Food handling preferred, willing to train for the right candidate.
